Room 2 Ruminations

We are third, fourth and fifth graders from a public school in San Francisco's Tenderloin Neighborhood. This blog is a project of Robyn Carter's classroom (Room 2). It's a place to share our art and writing with other kids and teachers.

COMICS IN THE CLASSROOM

Teachers!

Would like to learn how to make comics with your students? Take the free, self-paced online course MAKING DIGITAL COMICS I helped design for the professional development series on KQED TEACH.

Looking for a more in-depth exploration of craft? Check out my TeachersPayTeachers page for graphic novel study units. Built around a middle grade novel, graphic novel and/or film, each unit includes prompts, discussion questions, word banks, graphic organizers, mentor author excerpts and student examples to help guide your class through the process of drafting, revising and illustrating graphic stories, poems and essays like the ones Room 2 writers post here.
